Savory tarts and appetizers are my favorite. You can enjoy it warm or cold, for lunch or as a savory treat. The base consists of eggs and excellent cheese. You can also substitute spinach with ingredients such as leeks, cherry tomatoes, or even zucchini. I eagerly anticipate the fresh vegetable season, when I will be able to vary these combinations. My little helpers also assisted with the preparation; take a look.
Instructions:
Combine the flour, butter, salt, and a little water to form a dough, then let it rest for half an hour. Afterward, use it to line a baking dish approximately 26 cm in diameter, prick it with a fork, and pre-bake in the oven at 180°C for about 5-10 minutes. For the filling, sauté the onion and bacon.
Finally, briefly blanch the spinach. Let it cool slightly, then add the beaten eggs, cheese, and whipping cream. Season with salt and black pepper. Pour the mixture onto the pre-baked crust and bake in the oven at 180 °C for approximately 30-40 minutes.
