2 dl milk,

1/2 dl oil,

1 tsp sugar,

2 tsp salt

Instructions:

Do you like cottage cheese and savory treats made from yeast dough? Although we usually use cottage cheese for sweet dishes, this was a pleasant change and everyone enjoyed it in the end. You can serve it, for example, with Babička kefir, and you’ll have an excellent lunch or dinner ready.

Prepare the yeast starter by mixing lukewarm milk, crumbled yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Combine the starter with the remaining ingredients and knead the dough, then let it rise for half an hour. For the sauce, sauté sliced garlic in olive oil. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter and cottage cheese, seasoned with salt and black pepper. Roll out the risen dough to a thickness of half a centimeter. Use a glass to cut out circles, fill them with the prepared filling, and fold them in half to form a pierogi shape. You can decorate the edges with a fork. Brush with egg and bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
