Yellow cheesecake

Ingredients:

3 eggs,

1 cup granulated sugar,

1 cup oil,

1 cup milk,

2 cups all-purpose flour,

1 packet baking powder

Filling:

500g BABICKA Curd Cheese,

250g BABICKA Butter,

1 packet vanilla sugar,

8 tbsp powdered sugar

Glaze:

3/4 liter water,

2 packets Zlatý klas,

7 tbsp sugar,

2 orange effervescent tablets

Instructions:

While I see everyone baking mazanec or lamb cake for Easter all over the internet, these types of Easter cakes are not what I grew up with. When I recall my childhood, this yellow curd cheese cake is what comes to mind as our Easter treat. Are you familiar with it? If not, give it a try. It will certainly be suitable for other holidays as well. And what’s great is that there’s a whole baking sheet full of it for the entire family.

Instructions:

To prepare the dough, whisk all ingredients together and bake on a floured baking sheet at 180 °C for approximately 20 minutes.
For the filling, mix the curd cheese, softened butter, and sugar, then spread it over the cooled dough.
Prepare the glaze by dissolving the effervescent tablets in water, sweetening it, and cooking it together with Zlatý klas. Pour it over the curd cheese filling and let it set in the refrigerator.
